Hiko Sejiro, Sejiro Hiko is kenshin's master and the 13th person who master the Hiten Mitsurugin Ryu style. He always drinks sake and he almost got killed by Kenshin while passing the last test of Kenshin's technique.
Seta Sojiro, Sojiro has tragic past, and Shishio took advantage to poor little Sojiro. His fighting skills is one of the best because he recieves it from the heavens. He fights with God-like speed and on top of that he lacks of emotion and he always smile even if he did the most brutal murder in the RK series.
Shishio Makoto, Shishio is the person who took over at the Battousai's place during Bakumatsu. He nearly got killed by the government because he knew to much of secrets from them. After the revolution, he made the Juppongatana consisting Japan's most ruttless killers.
AKAMATSU ARUNDO, Not much is known about Akamatsu Arundo, he is one of the assassins, like Udou Jine, who were hired to kill other government officials by certain other government officials. He becomes one of Shibumi's men, a corrupted politician.
Akamtsu is a very jealous man, all he wants is to be the number one among his master's men, which actually happened when Jin'e killed himself after losing the fight against Kenshin. But when Saitoh came along, Shibumi doesn't think twice to give his complete trust to a former Shinsen Gumi. This makes Akamtsu very angry, thus he is lured by Saitoh.
According to the Shinsengumi's plan, Akamatsu faces Himura - who at first though he had to encounter Saitoh. Using his chains Amakaru manages to trap Kenshin, but the Battousai draws his sword, destroys his opponent's weapons and knocks him down to the ground.
Later, when Akamatsu discovers that Saitoh is in cahoots with Okuboo, he tells his employer that he doesn't want to be involved with such a big name like Okubo. Akamatsu has planned on running off to Shanghai where he'd be safer, but he is decapitated by the man he was trying to runaway from, the former leader of Shinsengumi Squad Three, Saitoh Hajime.
